FleetBoston's Charity Goals Remain Question Mark after Merger Announcement.

Oct. 29--Fleet Bank gave $3 million in charitable donations and sponsorships in Connecticut last year.
More than a third of Fleet's 5,500 employees volunteered 15,000 hours.
And the bank's chief executive in Connecticut served on seven key boards.
But will this tradition of community service continue when Fleet is swallowed up by Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America?
It's hard not to wonder -- and worry.
"There are always concerns when these mergers happen," said Nancy Roberts, president of the Connecticut Council of Philanthropy in Hartford.
