Oct. 29--The state Business and Industry Department on Tuesday announced the appointment of commissioners for the Financial Institutions Division and the newly created Mortgage Lending Division.
Carol Tidd, finance division president for Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio, was named commissioner of the Financial Institutions Division, division Director Sydney Wickliffe announced.
Scott Bice, branch chief for the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Santa Ana, Calif., was appointed mortgage lending division commissioner.
The appointees weren't immediately available for comment.
