Nov. 1--Six months after their union agreed to 17.5 percent pay cuts and losses of vacation time, holidays and sick pay, many mechanics at American Airlines' Maintenance & Engineering Center are angry.
"I've been there 14 years and this is the worst I've ever seen it at work," said Robert Little. "There aren't very many happy people at American these days.
"I've had over 10 people come up to me lately and say they used to like coming out here to work. Now they just come out here to survive."
Little is among more than a dozen Tulsa-based mechanics who said feelings of anger, frustration, disgust and betrayal run through the M&E base like a storm-swollen...
