Century-Old Swift Building in Fort Worth, Texas, Stockyards Draws No Bids.

Nov. 6--FORT WORTH, Texas--The effort to auction the century-old former Swift & Co. office building in the Stockyards that last served as a Spaghetti Warehouse fell flat Wednesday.
None of the registered bidders responded to the opening price, and Texas Christian University and local business association members gave up their efforts to get the building for a Texas archives collection.
Only four people registered to bid on the property, but the auctioneer opened at $2 million. The figure quickly went down to $1 million, but within a few minutes the auction was halted.
