Lieberman Sidesteps Endorsement Debacle in Connecticut Democratic Caucus.

Nov. 6--It was going to be a public political dissing -- the liberal arm of the state Democratic Party holding a convention and not endorsing Connecticut's presidential candidate, Sen. Joseph Lieberman.
But Lieberman's campaign caught wind of it before the Caucus of Connecticut Democrats' Saturday meeting, when the group will endorse a presidential candidate, and made a pre-emptive strike Wednesday by bowing out of the contest.
To paraphrase: Take our candidate's name off the list. We don't want your endorsement anyway.
Touche.
