Longview, Texas-Based Bank to Open First Full-Service Branch in Tyler.

Nov. 9--A Longview-based bank will make inroads into the Tyler banking market when it opens its first branch in Two American Center Nov. 17. But officials with Texas Bank & Trust, formerly Longview Bank & Trust, say they won't stop there.
Plans are on the way for a "full-service" banking center on the northeast corner of South Broadway Avenue and Robert E. Lee Drive.
The branch will be about 7,400 square feet with eight express drive-through lanes, an ATM and two commercial lanes, Rogers Pope Jr., executive vice president and general counsel, said.
It will also rent safe deposit boxes.
