Nov. 13--Mitsubishi's redesigned Galant sedan starts at $17,997 for the 2004 model year. That is for a base DE model with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. The ES model with the same engine is $18,997. The LS and GTS come with a standard 3.8-liter V-6 and are priced at $20,997 and $25,697, respectively. The prices do not include the $595 destination charge.
Base prices on the new Lancer Sportback wagon are $16,597 for the LS and $19,197 for the Ralliart, not including the $575 destination charge.
