Thai Developer Univentures to Invest More in Real Estate.

Nov. 13--Univentures Plc (UV) will increase its real estate investments next year by spending one billion to 1.5 billion baht to acquire distressed assets for redevelopment with strategic allies.

The company has made investments worth 600 million baht so far this year, according to managing director Thanapol Sirithanachai.

"Our primary focus is to acquire distressed properties, which have high market potential, and redevelop them with the right partners. We're only a real estate investor. With this concept, we are more flexible and have lower risks in co-developing projects with the others," he said.
