Bush Administration Pressures Congress to Reach Deal on Medicare Drug Coverage.

Nov. 14--Older Americans may be closer to getting Medicare prescription coverage. But many of the 100 senior citizens, 65 and older, who gathered yesterday at the Brith Sholom House in Philadelphia were skeptical.

Some said they doubted that Congress would actually approve a Medicare plan this year. Others said what was being debated by lawmakers did not appear to be that great.

"There's a lot of talk. I want to know the details. What are they going to offer?" asked Lily Isakov, 91, a resident of Brith Sholom on Conshohocken Avenue near the Adam's Mark Hotel.
