Technology Sector Down, but Looking Up in Colorado.

Nov. 19--Colorado lost tens of thousands of well-paying technology sector jobs in 2002, but a trade association releasing those results says things seem to be looking slowly up this year.

Despite the jobs hemorrhage, Colorado still ranks first nationwide in its concentration of tech workers in the private sector.

According to the Cyberstates 2003 report, released by the American Electronics Association (AeA) based on data from 2002, 98 out of every 1,000 workers in the private sector in Colorado were employed in high-tech firms.
