Hartford, Conn.-Based Phoenix Fills Two Leadership Posts.

Nov. 21--The Phoenix Cos. Inc. filled two high-ranking executive posts Thursday as the Hartford-based money manager and life insurer named a new chief financial officer and a new chief investment officer.
To the chief financial officer's post, Phoenix appointed 45-year-old Michael E. Haylon. Haylon, chief investment officer since July 2002, will replace Chief Financial Officer Coleman D. Ross, who plans to leave the company after Dec. 31. Ross came on board as Phoenix's finance chief in April 2002, soon after the company first sold shares to the public in June 2001.
