Nov. 25--BE's NUCLEAR DELAY: British Energy warned that its two nuclear reactors at Heysham 1 will not be back in service until mid-December, nearly three weeks later than anticipated after extra repairs were needed. The taxpayer is picking up a UKpound 50 million bill for Heysham and Sizewell B stoppages. BE fell 0.1 pence to 5 pence.
ISLANDS IN CLEAR: Both the Isle of Man and Jersey received a clean bill of health from the International Monetary Fund in a worldwide review of the fight against money laundering and terrorist finance. Both showed a "high level of compliance" with international codes and were vindicated.
