Visions of Plum Deals Lure Seattle-Area Bargain Shoppers on Black Friday.

Nov. 29--For some, the post-turkey snooze had barely begun when the die-hard holiday shoppers were hitting the streets.
Kim Walley, of Maple Valley, got her sleepy daughters -- Kendall, 6, and Jordan, 9 -- out of bed at 3:30 yesterday morning to continue a years-long post-Thanksgiving tradition.
Walley and her family -- including grandma Barbara Secord -- ate breakfast about 4 and hit the road, aiming to be at the Renton Fred Meyer at 5 a.m. They grabbed half-off socks and sale sweaters before heading to downtown Seattle. By 6 a.m., the family was at Bon-Macy's, scouting for bargains like the specialty pan Walley got for $29, marked down from $119.
