Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-Based Electronics Firm Trustees Voted Out.

Nov. 14--A shareholder launched a surprise revolt at Espey Manufacturing & Electronics Corp.'s annual meeting Thursday that forced two sitting independent trustees off the board.

The move came with the tacit support of the company's chairman, president and chief executive, Howard Pinsley, who along with his cousin -- board member Barry Pinsley -- held the proxies and final voting power for about 82 percent of the outstanding shares.

For reasons that were unclear, H. Bud Wolf, who owns 35,000 shares, raised motions to vote off three of the Espey's eight board members. One incumbent survived the purge.
