Success of Salty Snacks Good for Bluffton, Ind., Foodmaker.

Nov. 24--FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- A week before Warner Bros. released "Looney Toons: Back in Action," it was hard to find the salty snacks based on the cartoon characters at area Target stores unless you looked for the item the day it was delivered.

The new product was selling that well, reported a clerk at the Target store near Glenbrook Square. His advice: "The truck comes Mondays and Thursdays."

The product's success is good for the Bluffton plant that makes it. The facility, owned by Goodyear, Ariz.-based Poore Bros., employs about 150 and also makes T.G.I. Friday's and Tato Skins snacks.
