Georgia Southern University Receives First Installment of $7.5 Million Gift.

Dec. 5--Georgia Southern University received a special gift this week - a check for $2.5 million.
From the estate of the late Allen E. Paulson, the money is the first installment of a $7.5 million pledge the prominent businessman had made nearly 12 years ago.
"This $2.5 million cash distribution from Mr. Paulson's living trust further enhances his legacy of being the most generous supporter, individual or corporate, in the history of philanthropy at Georgia Southern," said James Britt, GSU's vice president of advancement.
