Car Satellite Technology More Popular Than Ever in Lima, Ohio.

Dec. 9--LIMA, Ohio--The same technology that helped rescue workers find Gordon and Jean Misch in their sinking car Saturday night allows drivers to avoid traffic jams, locate restaurants and check sports scores and stock quotes.
General Motors' OnStar Corp. system activated when the Misches' Buick Century slid into a pond on Bel-Aire Place in Shawnee Township. Gordon Misch died later that night, but Jean Misch survived. Shawnee Township police and fire workers pulled the Wapakoneta couple from a submerged car after an OnStar employee called the Allen County Sheriff's Office.
