Former Cumulus Media Inc. Executive Settles Dispute with SEC.

Dec. 12--The Securities and Exchange Commission had been investigating allegations that Cumulus violated federal securities laws in 1999, Cumulus said in a press release.
Cumulus used to be based in Milwaukee but moved its headquarters to Atlanta three years ago. The company runs radio stations across the country. Weening now is president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based Quaestus & Co. Inc.
Under the settlement, Cumulus does not admit or deny the allegations. The company consented to a court order enjoining it from future violations of certain securities laws, but it will not pay any fines.
