Two Tampa, Fla.-Area Food Processing Firms Acquired by Irish Company.

Dec. 12-- As part of a worldwide expansion program, the Kerry Group of Tralee, Ireland, has acquired two large food processing companies in the Tampa Bay area.
Kerry paid $68 million for Sun Pure, a natural citrus flavor and ingredients manufacturer in Lakeland, and a total of $62 million for Crystals International of Plant City and Da Vinci Gourmet of Seattle.
Crystals International is the world's leading provider of instantly soluble freeze-dried fruit juices. Da Vinci Gourmet makes sauces, syrups and specialty coffee.
