Head of Buffalo, N.Y.-Area Planning Organization to Step Down.

Dec. 16--The executive director of Forever Elmwood will leave at the end of January.
Thomas Cooney is completing a master's in urban planning at the state University at Buffalo and said he wants to pursue other opportunities.
"What I learned in my three years at Forever Elmwood I would like to utilize on a larger scale," Cooney said. "I love community-based neighborhood planning, but I'd like to take it on a larger scale and longer range."
