Thai Motorcycle Parts Chain Hopes to Recruit 130 Franchisees by 2005.

Dec. 23--KPN Plus, a franchise operator of motorcycle parts retail outlets, expects total turnover of about 350-400 million baht next year, before sales soar to at least one billion baht in 2005 following the addition of as many as 130 new franchises.

Nattawut Phowborom, managing director of KPN PLus Co, a new business unit of the KPN Group run by the Narongdej family, said the company has approved 30 new franchisees this year out of about 600 applications. Only two shops, one at Soi Udomsuk and the other at Lat Phrao 64, have been opened to date.
