Dec. 29--DIRECTOR FOR VOUGHT TRANSFERRING TO NASHVILLE: After 25 years of managing the Stuart plane-making plant now run by Vought Aircraft Industries, Mike DeMeo is saying farewell.
DeMeo, who is director and site manager, is being transferred to Vought's new plant in Nashville, where he also will be the site manager and oversee the work of about 1,100 people.
The plant is a recent addition for Vought. Earlier this year, the Dallas-based manufacturer bought out Nashville-based The Aerostructures Corp., which designs and makes airframes for companies including Airbus and Boeing.
