Dec. 29--A FOOT IN THE DOOR: Hair Games Etc., a hair and nails salon, opened Nov. 24 in Byron.
The 1,250-square-foot salon at 185 Highpoint Place N.E., Suite 104, in the Highpoint Business Center is owned by two longtime Byron residents, Kitsie Robinson and Kelly Bale.
Bale said the business has four on staff, offers all hair and nails services and has two tanning units -- one a bed and one a 10-minute, stand-up booth.
They hope head-to-toe service will set them apart in Byron.
"We are the first one (salon) in Byron to offer pedicures," Bale said.
The owners hope to add two more employees.
