Shareholder-Fans Would Lose If Pair Gets Tighter Grip on London Football Club.

Dec. 30--New documents show how Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy and his billionaire associate Joe Lewis are preparing to tighten their grip on the struggling north London club.
The recently-announced UKpound 15 million fund raising could result in the pair, through their private vehicle ENIC, holding up to 67 percent of Spurs shares without having to bid for the rest.
This would leave the club's 20,000 shareholder-fans virtually powerless.
The offer documents also show that caretaker manager David Pleat is being paid at least UKpound 275,000 this year -- after the worst start of the season since 1910.
