Oklahoma Natural Gas Settles on Rate-Hike Plan.

Jan. 3--The average residential customer would pay $1.40 more per month.
Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. and state regulators have agreed to a $26.4 million rate increase for ONG customers -- $10 million less than the utility's initial proposal.
The average residential customer, based on 80 dekatherms of annual gas consumption, would pay an additional $1.40 a month under the proposal.
ONG, the state's largest gas utility, originally requested a $36 million rate increase over 18 months to cover additional costs created by new government mandates, investments in gas storage and unpaid customer bills.
