Editor of Florida's Orlando Sentinel Takes Baltimore Sun Position.

Jan. 7--Timothy Franklin, whose aggressive agenda as editor of the Orlando Sentinel earned the newspaper many national journalism awards, was named editor of The (Baltimore) Sun on Tuesday.
During three years at the Sentinel, Franklin reorganized the newsroom and directed an overhaul of the paper's design. He took exceptional pride in the recognition the newspaper received for enterprise reporting, which included exposs on NASCAR's safety record, the depletion of the regional water supply, the causes behind the shuttle Columbia disaster and an examination of problems in the residential home-building industry.
