Jan. 8--The 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK roadster will make its North American debut at the New York auto show in April. It incorporates design cues from Mercedes' current and past Formula One racecars, including a more pointed nose. The '05 model will have a new 3.5-liter 6-cylinder when it goes on sale late this year.
