Oxford Health Stock Rises on Takeover Rumor for Trumbull, Conn., Insurer.

Jan. 10--Oxford Health Plans Inc.'s stock jumped 4.7 percent Friday in heavy trading after the company was mentioned on CNBC on a list of potential takeover targets.
As the market plunged and other health insurers' stocks fell, Oxford closed Friday up $2.10 on market speculation, at $46.69 a share -- the stock's highest point since June 2002.
The shares traded as high as $47.84 shortly after noon on Friday.
Oxford spokespeople declined to comment on the stock's movement.
