Jan. 13--Bsquare co-founder Bill Baxter has resigned as director and chief technical officer, less than six months after he stepped down as chief executive officer.
Baxter, 40, said yesterday he is leaving the Bellevue hardware and software company for personal reasons. A veteran of the local tech scene and a board member of tech trade group WSA, Baxter said he has no plans to leave the region.
His last day at Bsquare is Jan. 21.
The decision was tough, Baxter said. He and his wife are expecting a child in six weeks, which he said has captured his attention.
"I've lived this company for 10 years now, and it's a wonderful place," he said.
