David's Bridal Continues Expansion throughout the United States.

Jan. 10--It's an 800-lb. gorilla in a white satin dress. And it's gobbling up customers like they were fresh fruit on the hors d'oeuvres table at a wedding reception.
David's Bridal is big and getting bigger as it eats its way through the gargantuan wedding market.
The Conshohoken, Pa., company has about 210 stores across the country and will add about 30 a year until at least 2008, when it expects to operate 330 stores. It sold about 25 percent of the 1.5 million wedding dresses sold in the United States last year.
"I went to David's because they had a big variety, and it's very easy access," said Courtney McDonnell, of Warwick.
