Alabama Gas Prices Remain Low.

Jan. 8--Market experts express more hope than confidence that gasoline prices will be relatively stable this year compared with the wild ups and downs that marked 2003.

No matter how the national price trend plays out, however, Alabama drivers most likely will continue to pay less for gasoline than people in many other states.

Greg Womble, public relations and marketing manager for AAA of Alabama, says the fluctuations of 2003 and the range of factors affecting gas prices make predictions particularly difficult.
