Boston Financial Data Services Pulls Out of Providence, R.I., Facility.

Jan. 14--Boston Financial Data Services Corp. plans to pull 260 employees out of downtown Providence, striking a blow to the state's financial-services sector.
Boston Financial, which provides record-keeping for mutual-fund companies and the 401(k) industry, said yesterday it is closing its Rhode Island facility and plans to offer the employees positions in its Boston area offices.
The company is currently leasing a building next to the Providence train station and expects to empty the 113,000-square-foot space by the end of the year. Employees in the facility were notified earlier this week, said Hannah Grove, a spokeswoman with Boston Financial....
