Private Jet User Clashes with Eugene, Ore., Airport Over Fuel Prices.

Jan. 14--Monaco Coach Corp. is one of the Eugene Airport's most frequent users, the firm's corporate jets regularly roaring off airport runways to take executives to business in other states.

The Coburg-based recreational vehicle maker also is a major tenant at the city-owned airport, leasing land for its large hangar that houses its Gulfstream IV and Beechjet aircraft.

But a plan by Monaco to install its own fuel tanks at the hangar in order to supply those jets has been denied clearance for takeoff by the airport manager. That's prompted Monaco to appeal to the Federal Aviation Administration.
