Santa Barbara, Calif. Downtown Booster Organization Honors Three People.

Jan. 16-- The Downtown Organization bestowed honors on Katherine Fenz, Michael Towbes and Kate Schwab at its annual luncheon Thursday, attended by 140 civic leaders at El Paseo Restaurant.
A senior at San Marcos High School with a 4.6 grade-point average, Ms. Fenz received the Harriet Miller Youth Leadership Award in recognition for her volunteerism and community service.
In recognition of his efforts and contributions to sustain the downtown as a business, financial and performing arts district, Mr. Towbes was honored as Citizen of the Year.
