Top Man at U.K. Private Equity Firm Compass to Point Way at Cadbury Schweppes.

Jan. 22--Change is in the air at Cadbury Schweppes. Chief executive Todd Stitzer hired outsider Ken Hanna from private equity firm Compass Partners International as his finance chief.
He arrives on March 1 and joins the board when David Kappler retires in April.
Within two hours of the news Cadbury shares rose 15 pence to 414 pence. They finished 10 pence up at 409 pence.
When Scots-born Hanna chief executive of pet food and snacks group Dalgety, he broke it up profitably for shareholders.
Nothing so drastic is likely at Cadbury, but some believe the "sum of the parts" could be worth more than the present UKpound 8.4 billion market value.
