Jan. 22--Volkswagen says its V-12 powered Phaeton luxury sedan is ready to join the V-8 powered version that went on sale last fall. The 6-liter, 420-horsepower V-12 will start at $94,600, up from the $84,890 originally announced in November. The 4.2-liter, 335-h.p. V-8 starts at $64,600.
--The Chrysler Group's new rear-wheel-drive cars, on sale in the spring as 2005 models, range from $21,870 to $32,370. The Chrysler 300 sedan starts at $22,970 for the base model with a 2.7-liter V-6 and goes to $32,370 for the 300C with a 5.7-liter V-8.
