Reading, Pa.-Based Arrow International Introduces New Cardiac Pump.

Jan. 22--Philip B. Fleck, president and chief operating officer of Arrow International Inc., on Wednesday unveiled what he called the second generation of automatic balloon pumping systems for cardiac patients at the company's annual meeting, held in its Bern Township headquarters.
"The Arrow AutoCAT 2 Wave intra-aortic balloon pumping system delivers speed-of-light responses for heart patients," Fleck told about 75 shareholders who were in attendance. "This represents the most technologically advanced aortic balloon pumping system on the market today."
