Jan. 24--After my first day driving the Audi S4 Quattro, I became concerned about where I would obtain real rocket fuel around Hartford for the shockingly yellow beast.
That's because it surely felt as if I had a rocket on my hands that would need more than ordinary premium gasoline.
It was a close fit for me and my leather winter jacket although it wasn't so snug that I couldn't search my pockets for toll money.
The seating was by Recaro, so it was exceedingly comfortable for a long drive.
The bottom line is that this is a compact car -- indeed "very compact" would more accurately describe it -- that has been beefed up with a 4.2-liter...
