Attorney Set to Refute Testimony of Star Witness against Martha Stewart.

Jan. 29--A lawyer who represented the prosecution's star witness against Martha Stewart said yesterday he's ready to testify that his former client didn't tell the whole truth to the FBI.
Attorney Jeremiah Gutman has emerged as a weapon to undermine the credibility of Douglas Faneuil, the broker's assistant who handled Stewart's now-infamous stock sale and is set to testify against her today.
Faneuil's testimony is key because he says Stewart sold 4,000 shares of ImClone stock on Dec. 27, 2001, after getting an insider tip. The broker's assistant told the FBI that Gutman told him to lie to the Securities & Exchange Commission.
