Famed Dallas Wholesale Fashion Complex Moves to New Location.

Jan. 31--DALLAS -- For 40 years, the mammoth International Apparel Mart in Dallas has served as the Southwest headquarters of the wholesale clothing business, bringing together merchants and shop owners searching for the latest fashions.
No longer.
Now that the annual January spring-and-summer apparel show has wrapped up, the 600 tenants of the 1.8 million-square-foot complex are packing their showrooms for the move to the nearby World Trade Center in time for the next major market, for fall apparel, in late March. Both buildings are part of the Dallas Market Center wholesale trade campus along Stemmons Freeway.
