Hospitals Team Up to Build Cancer Treatment Center in Wisconsin.

Feb. 3--The University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics and two community hospitals said Monday they would build a cancer treatment center between Madison and Milwaukee, south of Interstate 94 and Highway 26.

The proposed UW Cancer Center-Johnson Creek is a joint project of Fort HealthCare, Watertown Memorial Hospital and UW Hospitals and Clinics.

Construction of the $6.2 million center, affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center, will begin in April and be completed next spring, hospital officials said.
