Feb. 6--As part of an undisclosed investigation, federal agents converged Thursday on a Fort Lauderdale aerospace company run by a 44-year-old former cosmetologist.
A half-dozen agents from the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense Criminal Investigative Service milled in and out of the headquarters of M&M International Aerospace Metals Inc., a nondescript building in an aerospace hub near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Records show M&M Aerospace is a $3.4 million company registered under its current owners in 2001 and offering, according to its website, "a complete line of aircraft quality materials, including titanium, stainless steel, high-temperature and...
