Feb. 12--FCC'S SLOW APPROACH ON INTERNET PHONE CALLS IS BEST PATH: The Federal Communications Commission is approaching an important decision concerning the Internet. And early indications are that it's leaning in the right direction.
The commission, which holds immense authority over the nation's telecommunications structure, has largely taken a hands-off attitude toward the Internet.
After all, the Internet's development has moved ahead at warp speed. Why mess with something that's generally working and expanding quite well on its own?
