Cadbury Joins War on Obesity with Hunt for Low-Fat Chocolate.

Feb. 19--Cadbury Schweppes is trying to make a low-fat chocolate as the war on obesity continues. But the task is very tricky and such a product has yet to be made successfully, let alone put on sale.
The group is already selling low-sugar chocolate in France and may extend this to Britain.
But chairman John Sunderland insists: "It is far more important to help people toward a healthy lifestyle and a healthy diet."
Cadbury's profits slimmed down for 2003 after hefty goodwill charges and costs of integrating its biggest ever acquisition -- Adams chewing gum.
The pretax surplus fell from UKpound 830 million to UKpound 564 million. But underlying...
