U.S. House Majority Leader Sees Uphill Fight for Mars, Moon Plan.

Feb. 19--Americans should return to the moon and continue to Mars but convincing fellow members of Congress and the American public will be an uphill battle, U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Sugar Land, told members of the NASA community Wednesday.

Those in attendance at a Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership forum needed no convincing that President Bush's plans to return Americans to the moon and Mars are feasible and worthwhile.
