Thailand's BEC World Expects to Match TV Industry's Growth Rate.

Feb. 25--BEC World Plc, the operator of television Channel 3, has not been making headlines with dramatic programming changes like some rival free TV stations, but it remains confident that it can sustain advertising revenue growth at last year's the industry level of 13 percent.
Last year, the company earned advertising sales on the channel of 5.48 billion baht, up from 4.88 billion a year earlier.
The increase was partly due to an airtime fee increase during prime time to 420,000 baht per minute from 390,000 the previous year.
BEC's total sales revenue was 6.23 billion baht, an increase of 12.4 percent from 5.54 billion baht in 2002....
