Mar. 2--Colorado Springs loses jobs every month, but a new survey says the city has one of the most promising job markets in the nation.

Business 2.0 magazine has compiled a list of 10 Boom Villages, where life moves at a slower pace, but economic engines are humming. Colorado Springs ranks No. 6.

The cities, all with populations of less than 1 million, are expected to generate thousands of skilled, high-wage jobs as the economy comes to life in the next four years.
