Disney Opponents Hope to Send Signal.

Mar. 3--PHILADELPHIA -- Foes of the Walt Disney Co.'s board made a last-minute pitch Tuesday to oust Michael Eisner, urging shareholders to send a message to the embattled Disney chairman and CEO at today's annual meeting.
"This is your company," former board member Stanley Gold told a large crowd of supporters at a Philadelphia hotel. "Our goal is to send a loud signal of disapproval to Michael Eisner and the Disney board of directors for how they have managed this company."
