Mar. 8--With just five weeks before April 15, less than half of you have sent in your income taxes.

Some of you might be struggling over whether you need to see a tax pro or can go it alone.

This year's tax code changes, notably the new breaks in dividend and capital gains tax rates, might send a few do-it-yourselfers to a Jackson Hewitt or their local accountant. Still, software programs promise to ease the pains of filling out 1040s with some major savings.
