South Dakota High School Student Charged with Counterfeiting $10 Bill.

Mar. 11--A Central High School student stands accused of counterfeiting a $10 bill on his home computer.

In mid-February the cash was spent at Central's cafeteria, said Aberdeen Police Detective Eric Duven. There a student thought it looked suspicious. An investigation eventually led not to the spender but to another Central student. Duven would not say what pointed officers to the now-accused 17-year-old boy.

The Brown County State's Attorney's Office received an APD report on the case March 8. Charges could be filed in the next two days, said Brown County Deputy State's Attorney Rachel Wilkins.
